Boysenberry Crumble Bars

Sometimes you need a ridiculously easy recipe that you can put together in your sleep.  This is it.  4 ingredients people.  4 ingredients!!

Boysenberry Crumble Bars
Recipe slightly adapted from Mom on Timeout

-1 box yellow cake mix
-2 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
-3/4 cup butter, melted
-1 cup Boysenberry jam
-1 Tbsp water

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.

In a large bowl mix together the cake mix and oats.  Then stir in melted butter until mixture is crumbly.

Press half of the crumbs into prepared pan.

Combine your jam and your water and spread mixture on top of bottom crust.

Top preserves with remaining crumbs and press down gently.

Bake 18-23 minutes.  Do not overbake or your bars will be dry!

Cut into bars and serve.  A big scoop of vanilla bean ice cream won't hurt either.
