Peppermint Pretzel Candy Bark

Last year I found some really cute Reindeer candy corn bark over at Your Homebased Mom.  I decided to do a peppermint version since I already had white chocolate peppermint M&M's, peppermint marshmallows, and Peppermint Jojo's from Trader Joes.

Literally as I'm making my version I noticed a picture on her sidebar...

SERIOUSLY??

Right down to the Jojo's.

It's hilarious how people share brainwaves sometimes.

This bark was so yummy.  The pretzels really make it unique and keep it from being too crazy sweet.  Also, its super easy so it's a great thing to whip up last minute when you remember people you haven't given Christmas treats to yet...

Peppermint Pretzel Candy bark
Recipe adapted from Your Homebased Mom

-Pretzel sticks
-White chocolate peppermint M&M's
-Peppermint Jojo cookies (Trader Joes), broken into pieces
-Peppermint marshmallows
-Starlight mints, or candy canes, broken into small pieces
 -1 lb white almond bark

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.  Sprinkle the first 5 ingredients evenly onto the bottom of the cookie sheet.

Break almond bark into squares and put into a medium-sized bowl.  Melt in the microwave at 50% power, for 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until melted smooth.

Pour melted bark evenly on top of the toppings on the cookie sheet.  You can use a spatula lightly to spread it smooth if you need to.

Garnish top with additional peppermint M&Ms, Starlight mint pieces, and peppermint marshmallows.

Allow bark to set completely at room temperature, or move to the freezer to cool quickly.

Break into pieces to eat.
