This spread tastes like pumpkin pie and you can eat it for breakfast. That's all you really need to know. It's perfect on a cinnamon crunch bagel!
Pumpkin Pie Cream Cheese
Recipe adapted from Better Homes and Gardens
-8 oz cream cheese, softened
-1/2 cup pumpkin puree
-1/4 c +1-2 Tbsp brown sugar (add the second Tbsp if you want it sweeter)
-1/2 tsp vanilla
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp ginger (scant)
-1/4 tsp nutmeg
-1/8 tsp ground cloves
Whip together the softened cream cheese and pumpkin puree with an electric mixer until smooth. No lumps should remain.
Add brown sugar, vanilla, and spices and mix until combined.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
