Chocolate-Dipped Gingerbread Men


Because everything should be dipped in chocolate at least once.

Chocolate-Dipped Gingerbread Men

For this recipe, just dip the heads of these Gingerbread Men in a bowl of chocolate at an angle.  (Microwave chocolate 30 seconds at a time at 50% power until smooth.  If needed, add a teensy bit of vegetable oil to get it to dipping consistency.)  Let cookies dry on parchment paper until chocolate is set.


Tip- I actually made the gingerbread cookies back at Halloween and froze them, so all I had to do was pull them out of the freezer and dip!  (I do recommend letting them come to room temperature before dipping so your chocolate doesn't harden too quickly.) This is a super easy way to simplify your holiday baking.

I love their little hats. I know what you mean about chocolate days. I have those days, and cookie days too. My husband never checks his phone so he'd probably get my message three days from when I first sent it! LOL Thanks for the freezing tip, too.
